Last Sunday, John Compton shared an exercise in thankfulness called the Examen. For those of you who didn't get a chance to write them down, here are the 5 steps he laid out:
1. Become aware of God's presence
2. Review your day with gratitude
3. Pay attention to your emotions
4. Choose one feature to pray about
5. Look toward tomorrow
