Celebrating on Sunday, October 15
Child dedication is a promise that parents make before God, their family, and the church to raise their child in the Christian faith. The dedication service provides parents the opportunity for public expression of their personal commitment to follow Jesus and spiritually nurture their child to know and experience God's grace and truth. It is also a promise from the congregation that as their church family, we will support the parents while they raise their child. Our next child dedication service will be held on Sunday, October 15.
This year, we are offering a child dedication preparation class for parents. We will journey deeper into what it means to dedicate your child and equip you with resources on where to begin in the spiritual development of your child. We'll also have a panel of mentor parents to lead table discussions and answer questions.
The preparation class will be held on Saturday, September 30 (9-11:30 am). Childcare will be provided. If you are unable to attend the class, we will work with you to schedule a one-on-one meeting with someone from our class mentor team to discuss the commitment of child dedication.
Sign up for the dedication and the class here. Registration closes September 23rd.
