Experience the beauty of a place with deep Protestant roots and historic Celtic origins coming together with the brokenness of a people living in deep poverty and addiction.

Missional: July 9-15, 2017 (Sun to Sat)

An opportunity to work with different church plants in Edinburgh, Glasgow, and Dundee that serve the residents of Scotland's poorest housing projects (called schemes). Opportunities range from children's and youth outreach, sports ministry, manual labor, gardening, painting, relationship building, daily Bible study and prayer time along with some sightseeing.

Monastic: July 15-19, 2017 (Sat. to Wed.)

A journey of personal reflection and re-discovery around themes and threads highlighted in the origins and development of Celtic Christianity. Activities include daily meditation in solitude and community, a pilgrimage walk around the island of Iona (the birthplace of Celtic Christianity), visiting ruins and castles, and more.

Cost: $1,500, includes all lodging and transportation during the entire trip, and all meals during missional portion of the trip. Does not include meals during monastic portion of the trip, and round trip airfare.

Airline Cost: $800 (estimate)

Due to limited space available (groups up to 7 people), there will be a brief application for those interested in the trip. Must be 18 years or older due to the context of Scotland's schemes (any special consideration has to be approved by host church in Scotland).


Sunday, July 30-Sunday, August 6

Travel to the Rancho Ebenezer children's center, where Grace Church members Ben and Leah Welton are serving a two year mission. Rancho Ebenezer, a home for displaced Honduran children, gives children individual nurturing, treatment for emotional stress, preparation for a future as successful citizens and an introduction to the love of Christ.

Cost: Approximately $1,600 per person. This price includes airfare, transportation and all food and lodging at the Ranch.
